Browser Extension Setup: Quick Start Guide

MyFBleads is a Chrome extension and works on Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers like Microsoft Edge and Brave. Firefox and Safari are not currently supported. Chrome is recommended for the best experience.

After signing up at myfbleads.com, you will receive a download link for the extension. Unzip the file, go to chrome://extensions in your browser, enable Developer Mode, click Load Unpacked, and select the extension folder. The MyFBleads icon will appear in your toolbar.

The extension requires access to Facebook and Messenger websites to add lead capture buttons to your conversations. It also needs storage permission to save your leads locally. No access to other websites or personal data is required.

Lead data is stored locally in your browser by default. Optional cloud sync is available on Trial and above plans, which encrypts your data with AES-256-GCM encryption before upload. You control whether to use cloud sync or keep data local only.

First, refresh the Facebook page after installation. Check that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions. If icons still do not appear, try disabling other Facebook-related extensions that might conflict. Contact support if the issue persists.

When a new version is available, you will see a notification in the extension. Download the new version, remove the old extension from Chrome, and install the new one following the same steps. Your data is preserved in browser storage.

Yes, with cloud sync enabled. Install the extension on each computer and log in with the same account. Your leads, pipelines, and settings will sync across devices. Without cloud sync, each browser has separate local data.

Click the MyFBleads icon in your Chrome toolbar, then click Dashboard. This opens the full CRM interface where you can view all leads, manage pipelines, create automations, and access settings.
