What file format does MyFBleads accept?
MyFBleads accepts CSV (comma-separated values) files for bulk import. Most spreadsheet applications and CRMs can export to CSV format. Ensure your file uses UTF-8 encoding for special characters.
What fields can I import?
You can import lead name, Facebook profile URL, tags (comma-separated), notes, and pipeline stage. The Facebook profile URL is required for MyFBleads to link the lead to their Facebook profile.
How do I map columns to fields?
During import, MyFBleads shows your CSV columns and asks you to match them to MyFBleads fields. Select which column contains names, which contains Facebook URLs, and so on. Columns without matches are skipped.
What happens with duplicate leads?
MyFBleads identifies duplicates by Facebook profile URL. If a lead already exists, you can choose to skip the duplicate, update it with new data, or import it as a new entry.
How many leads can I import at once?
Bulk import handles thousands of leads per file. However, your account lead limit still applies. If you are on the trial (500 leads), you cannot import more than your limit allows.
Can I import from another CRM?
Yes. Export your leads from your current CRM to CSV, then import into MyFBleads. Most CRMs have an export function. You may need to reformat columns to match MyFBleads expected fields.
What if my import fails?
If an import fails, check your CSV for formatting issues like missing headers, inconsistent column counts, or invalid characters. MyFBleads shows specific error messages indicating which rows have problems.
